You may have heard about this little beer fest that takes place in Denver every October since 1982. Five hundred breweries from across America show up to pour 2,200 different beers to 49,000 attendees over three days. At the same time, professional judges from around the World sample over 4,000 competition entries (in a secure location) to determine who’s making the best beer in 75 different categories. It all takes place from October 11-13 at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) and San Francisco will be well represented at the festivities.

Several Guild members will be serving their beer all weekend at the festival, including:

21st Amendment Brewery
Anchor Brewing Company
Beach Chalet Brewery
Magnolia Gastropub & Brewery
MateVeza
Pacific Brewing Laboratory
Shmaltz Brewing Company
Social Kitchen & Brewery
Speakeasy Ales & Lagers

In addition to the individual brewery booths, the San Francisco Brewers Guild will be serving beer from nearly all of our member breweries in the Support Your Local Brewery Pavilion at booth K3. Here’s what we’ll be pouring and when it goes on tap:

Thursday Night (5:30 – 10:00pm)

– Double Daddy, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers
– The Smell, Social Kitchen & Brewery

Friday Night (5:30 – 10:00pm)
