Opened by “refugees of the fine dining world,” Barrel Head Brewhouse combines the highest quality food, craft beer, spirits, and premium cocktails with a casual atmosphere suited for any occasion. Whether you’re out for a birthday bash or just catching the game with your pals, in the mood for a basket of fries and a pint, or a ribeye steak and a 26 year bourbon, our emphasis on superior service will always make you feel welcome. With thirty draft beers, several brewed in house, running the gamut from hoppy to sour, malty to dry, and everything in between, you are sure to find the perfect quaff for the moment. If you’re looking for a fresh salad featuring local seasonal produce, or some boot-filling poutine, we got that. But be sure to sample the charcuterie, house smoked and cured bacon and ham, and homemade pates and salumi. We hope to provide good times and good meals to visitors and locals alike, and with our ever-changing menu focusing on artisanal product, give you a reason to keep coming back.
We work on a shiny new 15 barrel Prospero brewhouse, with two 15 barrel fermenters and three 15 bbl bright tanks. Our array of awesome guest beers allows us to brew whatever we are inspired to make on any given brew day. We enjoy experimentation and also trying to nail classic styles. We like to keep our regulars on their toes by constantly brewing new innovative beers encompassing the spectrum of malty, hoppy, and weird. We use the highest quality ingredients and never rush the fermentation. Oh, and we dry-hop pretty much everything. So far we have brewed a Saison, Black Kolsch, IPA, Roggenbier, Colonial Porter, Wet Hop Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, and have a Double IPA, Imperial Red Ale, Framboise, and Oktoberfest on deck.
