Situated amid the hustle and bustle of San Francisco’s Union Square Shopping District at 242 O’Farrell Street, Bartlett Hall is a gathering place for all. With a menu of approach-ably elevated pub fare served alongside craft cocktails and house-brewed beers, we are bringing back the idea of community by providing a truly unique, San Francisco experience for locals and visitors alike. Our vision for our house-brewed beer is one in the same – a commitment to crafting beers for everyone.
At the helm of our brewing operation is head brewer Wynn Whisenhunt, who has worked in professional breweries throughout the SF Bay Area since 2010. Wynn first began honing his craft as a homebrewer, but inspired by his first visit to a professional operation, he quickly realized his true calling was in a commercial setting. As he set out exploring the world of professional brewing, Wynn began his education in Chicago at the world-renown Siebel Institute of Brewing Technology. He then traveled to Doemens Academy in Munich, Germany. Both educational experiences provided a concrete foundation for brewing techniques, especially with brewing international styles. As Wynn’s experience deepened, he found his love to be brewing American style beers, especially West Coast style, while still brewing occasional one-offs and unique styles.
Bartlett Hall Brewing Company aims to create a unique atmosphere and experience in Union Square. We strive to set the standard in San Francisco’s brewing scene, while still bringing back the idea of community by providing a truly righteous, San Francisco experience for locals and visitors alike.
