Beers Made by Walking Tapping Event
Come to the fourth annual San Francisco Bay Area Beers Made by Walking tapping event on October 28 at the Aldea Center on Mount Sutro. Taste craft beers created by Bay Area breweries inspired by local plants and landscapes.
Special activities will be happening an hour before the tasting so you can discover the plants used in the beers:
PLANT HIKE: A limited number of tickets are available for a pre-tapping hike to discover Mount Sutro, our native plants, and landscapes. The hike will be about one mile on dirt trails, and will end at the tasting event when it opens at 2pm.
NURSERY TOUR: A limited number of tickets are available for a pre-tapping nursery tour to learn about our native plants, including those used in the beers. The nursery tour takes place at the Sutro Native Plant Nursery. At the end, we’ll walk to the tapping event, about five minutes away.
Participating brewers are a who’s who of the local craft beer scene — professional and homebrew:
Barrel Head Brewhouse
Black Hammer Brewing
Laughing Monk Brewing
Redwood Coast Cider
Standard Deviant Brewing
Triple Voodoo Brewery
Woods Beer Co.
Lone Mountain Brewing
Fair Oaks Brewing
Drink for a good cause: event proceeds support Sutro Stewards‘ education and stewardship programs.
