Nothing says summer like June, and for us that means a trip to the Sunset…

This month’s Meet the Brewers host, Social Kitchen and Brewery (1326 9th Ave.), is home to Great American Beer Fest medal winning head brewer Kim Sturdavant, who, aside from raking in more than a few medals over the years, is also inventor of a new beer style — Brut IPA — which began making appearances during SF Beer Week and has since taken off:

Brewing accolades aside, Social Kitchen is know as a great place for a bite and a party, so you know this will be a fun night.

Of course, starting at 6:30pm, the monthly Drink SF Beer shuttle will begin doing its thing, with multiple shuttles looping nonstop between Social Kitchen and Beach Chalet, Woods Outbound, Seven Stills Lawton and Sunset Reservoir. Just hop on, hop off at any stop.

#DrinkSFBeer shuttles are FREE, stopping every 10 minutes at each venue and running through 10:30pm. NOTE: Woods Outbound closes at 10pm due to permit requirements; please plan accordingly! See the complete 2018 shuttle schedule at:

There’s never been a better time to visit this neighborhood, with all the beer making at all these breweries dialed in and the route an easy-going one, providing plenty of time to visit and enjoy fresh craft beer and great food.

Plus, did we mention, it’s SUMMER (or at least summer’s eve)?

Come see the sunset in the Sunset and relish the start of this wonderfully playful season.
