The California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA), formed 26 years ago and the nation’s oldest state-level craft brewers ‘guild,’ is rolling out an ambitious 2-day event this September, in part to help keep up with the staggering growth of the California craft beer industry. (The CCBA reports that, on average, two new breweries are opening each week in the state.)

This epic celebration of the California craft beer industry — the California Craft Beer Summit & Brewers Showcase — will be unfolding Sept. 11-12 in Sacramento, and provide an inside track to all-things California craft beer.

Over the two days, networking events, keynotes and intimate educational sessions featuring industry pioneers — from Anchor Brewing Company, Magnolia Gastropub & Brewery, Sierra Nevada, Stone Brewing Co., Russian River Brewing Company, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., just to name a few — will be plentiful, all culminating with the CA-only Brewers Showcase festival on Sept. 12, when you can taste the best beers from more than 150 California breweries

It’s all about California craft beer and California brewers — and it’s worth the trip.
