Brewmaster Kim Sturdavant hails from Eugene Oregon, but has called San Francisco home for over ten years now. Although he’s always been an avid beer drinker, his affair with beer got serious at the Marin Brewing Company five years ago, where he found joy getting his hands dirty and working hard in the brewery. To expand his skill set Kim has also spent time helping out at one of SF’s seasoned establishments, the Magnolia Brewing Company. He then traveled to England for a "brewcation" in 2010 where he brewed at four of England's top craft breweries to experience their methods and beers first hand. Emphasis on food, culture, and family play a huge role while Kim’s in the lab, and you can taste it with his easy drinking hoppy beers. He now has a place to call his own, as Brewmaster in the Sunset’s Social Kitchen and Brewery.
